I would go register an appointment now, but uh. It says here that Fall Reg starts May 5, and my appointment is May 11. Thing is, I’m pretty sure I failed at least one class, and class doesn’t end before the 11 (I think?) so I can’t register before I know if I failed, can I? That would just be a hassle. (Especially because I usually take the max # of classes, which is five.) ._.

looking at Geki vs Bouken and Go-on vs Geki, I can’t help but rofl at how the Gekiranger beat the shit out of everything. Adventure, cars, AIN’T GOT NOTHING ON THE SERIES THAT SPECIALIZES IN ~*FIGHTING*~. 8D

Let’s not…talk about what happens later in the manga at the moment. I don’t deny that it’s a very important development, but that’s waaaaaaaaay off from this moment.

you know, for FMA:Brotherhood’s claims that it’s going to be closer to the manga, so far it isn’t doing a very good job. -_-; I mean, it’s pretty minor, I wouldn’t imagine the anime wants to spend an entire ep on Ed’s accidentally discovering his clap-alchemy, but still…. It…kinda annoys me, I guess, that FMA and FMA:B are only going to differ in the later eps; the earlier ones are going to be more or less the same except for relatively minor details. :/

Or possibly (ha), I’m just really really picky. pfft. |D

Aha, my mistake; FMA:B was actually following the manga to the letter—er, pixel—during that scene. I must have been thinking of the first anime. ^^;;;;;;;;;

Also, Shikabane Hime has screwed with my seiyuu sense; the guy I thought was Toshihiko Seki was actually Ohkawa Tohru. 8D;; (That’s mistaking Sanzo [Saiyuki] for Roy [FMA], guys. o_O;)

ETA: …I feel like I know this animation style. Something about the lip animation…can’t quite place it, though.

What a crap piece of voice-acting. That was a superass boring piece of dialogue that anyone could have voiced by speaking naturally. The chance of fucking up was practically zero and they still managed it.

I mean this is probably unfair considering voice-acting is harder than it looks, but seriously. There is no emotional investment written in these lines whatsoever. You’d think that be easiest for even n00b or non voice actors to portray, but no. ~sigh~ I didn’t think English-language voice acting could still be this bad, tbh

ETA: ASDFGHJKL; There was this video I saw. of a girl at a con. who’s voice sounded more like Renge’s in both voice and in voice acting. AT A CON. A cosplayer at a con. is better than the official dub. W. T. F.

as of this moment, I need to work on getting my rp’ing to one less internal. I need to stop being Mele and start describing her. I think it’s better this way: my threadmates will have more to work with if I move out of Mele’s head a little. But still use “Rio-sama”; all mentions of him will come from her own thoughts, anyway.

(If reference needed, Homura’s player does this really, really well).

ETA: Although…maybe the difference is perceived? TBH I hate going over her threads because I hate how badly I’ve been playing her, but it looks a bit like I still had “I am writing in third-person” in mind. But still, my mindset while I’m writing is pretty important, even if it might (haha, I am not convinced it *doesn’t* make a difference) not make a difference.
