I’ve had FF8 for years, but because of some memory card problems, I never got to play it. So now I’m playing it on my limited backwards-compatibility PS3. x3

My character atm are all at lvl 10, which is sort of. do not want. 8D;; Don’t know if this is good or bad, however. I was a bit confused as to how I could level up the GF’s without fighting, so I sacrificed my low level a bit for the GF’s. I think there was an item that converted EXP to GF AP? Have no idea what it is, though.

Squall has 100 Cures on his Spr stat (not that I know what the ‘Spr’ stat is… o/) and most recently, 100 Blizzards on his Strength stat, Zell has 100 Thunders on his Strength stat, Selphie has 100 Fires on her Magic stat, Rinoa has…actually I don’t know what Rinoa has. |D;

After Squall passed his SeeD exam, I got a S-level 3! Which increased to 4! I think it was because I reported to front gates promptly? pfff. But it went back down to three because I kept fucking up the train mission. |D

Today I overslept by liek ten minutes, and while I was getting to class I was all “I hope she’s a little bit late so I don’t have to walk in late. ><” As it turns out, I did get there before the professor! Unfortunately, everyone else did, too. In other words: she didn’t show. 8D After 20~30 minutes, one of my classmates pulled out a sheet of paper and was like “here. We’ll sign our names and then go.”

Unfortunately for me, I have a class later in the day and because of that had ~3 hours to kill. I should have just rolled over and gone back to sleep when I realized I’d overslept. ~disgruntled~

ETA2: Both Descartes and Locke have some sort of preoccupation with proving the existence of God, often based on what we do not know. In Locke’s case, it’s excusable; he was the one who thought there were limits to what humans can perceive, and rejects the idea that humans have the capability to “know”. Why was the existence of God even a question? The prevalent ideas of the time are one thing, but from what I’ve read, oftentimes “God” was a non-issue until Descartes and Locke specifically brought it up. I can only think of this preoccupation as an obsession of sorts, and also possibly a failure in deductive reasoning: bringing up God not through a natural sucession of evidences, but as a justification, wherein the philosophers have a conclusion, and set their hypotheses around it in order to “prove” it.

Both philosophers “prove” God, but say nothing about Christianity in particular. How can they be sure their Christian God is correct? The “God” they “proved” may well be Allah, or Aum, or even Plato’s creation theory, or Gaia and Ouranos, or the Goddess, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or the Divine Rainbow that gives us skittles and gays.

SH Kuro is way, way more fanservicey than SH Aka. I…disapprove actually. In Aka, all the fanservice at least took place in relevant scenes, like all the upskirt/butt shots while the Hime are fighting. They were already doing something—fighting, and the “camera” just chooses to be right there. But in Kuro, there are actually shots purely devoted to the fanservice (like that shot that cut to Itsuki’s boob just to make it jiggle). I mean seriously. It’s getting way, way overboard and just. OTL

I mean, I didn’t mind Aka’s because it pairs feminity with physical strength. The Hime are crazy strong in terms of punching power and stuff like that, and that, something normally considered “male,” is being shown with upskirts and stuff, more or less indicating that a woman doesn’t have to be “manly” to have punching power that exceeds 9000. Kuro is just…idek. Fetishist? In Itsuki v Friend, the Friend attacked with tentacles, which Shikabane do, but in Kuro it was more like Friend attacked, Itsuki had a fail moment (not like she’s the best fighter anyway, though) just to indulge in tentacle porn shot. =___=
