I am so spoiled for this game, it isn’t even funny. ~sigh~ I bought it for bakaimoto and imoto-kun liek. a couple of months ago? And they still haven’t let me play it. >_> At this rate, it’d become a FF7 for me: I know the characters, the general plot, some plot points, but I wouldn’t have played it. =_=
I don’t have all of my grades yet, but right now I’m glad I passed Intro to Art! I was worried because I hadn’t studied at all for that final and my test paper was literally blank. (And grading is based on just the Midterm, the paper, and the Final, so…yes.) ;_; But I got a B, so yes! :D
And I got an A+ in Vocab Building! I sort of figured he’d lower my grade just for never really paying attention in class (well, it’s not like I’m not paying attention, but I’m always writing while he’s talking, so I always thought he knew I was doing the hw but chose never to say anything. Maybe he thinks I was just taking a shitload of notes?)
At first, I thought Peace had an accent because his actor is White. But to my ears, I thought it was obviously forced. Well, I’m pretty sure I’m right; the way he speaks can’t properly be called an “accent” if all he’s doing is pronouncing all of the “r (l)”s like English-speakers do. xD
I’ve always heard complaints from English speakers that the Japanese r/l was really hard to grasp, and here the Japanese are intentionally exploiting that ambiguity from Japanese -> English to make Peace sound alien. So. genius. :’DDDD

ETA: …and he’s also pronuncing his “u”‘s. Come to think of it, maybe it is an accent, (albeit forced on the actor’s part you can ttly tell it’s fake because his actor sometimes slips and pronounces the words correctly. x3).

Hirata~~~~! I did my (in)famous voice recognizing trick! xDD;; I didn’t have to wait a while for her character to show up! :DDDD But it was kinda strange to hear Yuka’s (few) lines because her chara seems like a very gentle character, which is so different from Mele, lolll xDD
But aw, her chara uses her fists. (Actually she looks like she uses boxing gloves, but I haven’t seen her in action enough to confirm.) I was kinda hoping for a sword or something. xD Or sai. But I guess that just isn’t over the top enough But Yuka’s character isn’t in the opening? I hope that doesn’t mean she’s going to disappear after this. ;_;
People were bitching about Makina’s voice actress’ acting lacking inflection, because she’s a live actor, but I think her v-acting is perfect. I mean, how much more inflection does Makina need? IMO, the male lead is the one who sounds too flat.
This series is so awesome and creepy and awesome. :D
