Gou has been :| from ep 41. It started when Rio revealed Genju Ou. Gou’s words were, more or less “For making everyone–Dan, Jan suffer…Rio!” Then he got super gure gure, yelling at Jan and fighting with Ken. He got really angry when Ken said “Just because [Rio] didn’t pick you.” He said he believed in Jan when they were stuck in the gourds, and when Jan arrived, Gou was all :DDDDDDD But when Jan was being all happy happy and showing everyone the locket, Gou went back to :|

Don’t know if there’s a ‘window’ for getting it, but I went back to Sakawa before going to the Portal to the Dark, and walking into Sogreth’s home triggers a cutscene with Minos. That was kind of simple, wasn’t it? I wonder if I missed triggering it in my first game because I missed the ‘opportunity window’? ._.

Also, remember when I was talking about Meladee’s grunt set that I called the “DID set“? Well, I think that set only comes up during certain parts of the game, or idk, in certain dungeons. ._. Because she went back to more grunt-ish set after a certain cutscene, but I didn’t switch party members or anything (so it’s not the ‘she is with a new party member so she’s going to be less familiar’/lower unity level=certain grunt set thing. ._. )

As for my playing, I realized Ropple is more useful than I thought. His attack, while less than everyone else, isn’t bad per se. |D;; And (almost?) every monster has an elemental weakness, so once I’ve figured out the weakness for each monster, Ropple is pretty powerful (especially because elemental weakness cause more damage to begin with. heh). I’ve been using a party of Ropple+Meladee lately. This was the party that fought Rei+Volgh, and while Ropple was useful in toppling Volgh, Rei absorbs magic, so Ropple would probably be less useful than say, a melee character. |D Something funny that happened in the fight was that despite all his work toppling Volgh, Ropple died. ;_; And then Volgh died and Meladee levelled up, learning ‘Resurrect’. Just when I needed it! :Dddd Unfortunately, Ropple didn’t get any of the EXP from Volgh but oh well. |D

Also, when I had Yuno+Meladee, I always ROFL’d when I had Yuno using ‘Healing Melody’ on Meladee. ROFL.

Most recently, I’ve switched my party to Yuno+Leynart because I wanted to see what Unity the three of them have together. |D; (I got Flame Sword? Blades of Flame? Something like that for Tatsyua+Ropple+Meladee, which got me thinking about other possibilities. |D)

*Actually, I think the reason she waited so long is that even though Mio loves a “human”, she still has intense loyalty for the Fangire. So she can’t fight Fangire in order to save a human, (especially not when Taiga looked like he really was going to pass judgement on her) or at least that’s what she tells herself before she can’t stand it anymore and moved forward, at which point Taiga held her back. Mio gets points for actually struggling against Taiga’s grip (which too many female characters don’t [or at least not in my experience]). :D

ETA: DUDE. She didn’t say “That woman’s life is important to someone who is important to me,” she said, “I am taking something from that woman that is more important than life.”

After reading Brave Story the book, I CAN NOT LOOK AT THIS GAME THE SAME WAY EVER AGAIN. I didn’t even want to go to Lyris. Not that there is any of the racism in the game that was in the book, but I just didn’t want to go there. ._.;;

In other video game news, I finally beat the third(? or was it the second? ._.) stage in the Captain Gordon episode in Disgaea. (I had to level up like whoa before I could beat it… |D) And I realized that my Laharl is hugely powerful. His attack stat is ~300 above anyone else’s… o_o He also apparently levelled up ~3 times during the stage I couldn’t beat. Walking into the fight, Laharl and Etna were lvl 33. After the fight, Laharl was lvl 36 and Etna was 34 what the fork? And then there’s Larna, who, along with those two was the only one to survive the stage but didn’t level up even once (well, she was healing almost every turn, anyway… |D;).

Right now, staring at the screen and wavering in my chair…I feel like I’m about to die fall over. My head is all fuzzy and stuffed with cotton and I’m wavering in my chair. whuuuuuuuuuuuut
