KH2, princess
~cough~ Uh, me and Aladdin don’t get along too well; it’s been ages since I watched his movie. But. well. Kairi kidnapped Yuffie and cheerfully told me to write at least some of this or else. I’M SORRY IT’S SO BAD, ;_;
And Kairi’s out of character, ;;;_;;;
Sand wasn’t anything new to Riku, but when he saw the odd way yellow seemed to settle over everything, he knew without checking his map what world they had landed on, even without the tell-tale stinging in his eyes and rough feel of tiny particles of grain on his arms and other parts of his uncovered skin.And was quite sorry he’d decided to leave his coat on the ship, because even though this world was hot; hotter than the Destiny Islands, the sun beamed down on bare skin, determined to punish and burn.
Just my imagination.
Kairi was already dragging him toward a stall, to get some sort of covering for their aggrieved bodies, and he looked around while she made the purchase, hoping the Princess whose face he dreaded seeing wasn’t casually walking about like Sora said she liked to do.
But if he was looking, then surely she would spot him first. He ducked his head at that realization, and wished his hair didn’t stand out so much.
A wish that was granted a moment later, when Kairi slung a light cloth over his head.
She was frowning at him, and he wished he could tell her, but shame and agitation was eating up inside, sealing his throat, and he could only stare pleadingly into her eyes, wondering if she knew anyway, and trying not to just run away and never come back.
She sighed, a soft whisper of a sound that belied the concern in her eyes, and reached up to fix the cloth on his head, brushing her hand on his cheek, and kissing him softly before taking his hand and leading them deeper into Agrabah.
He didn’t protest or try to pull away, even as he knew she was headed for the Palace, and the place he particularly didn’t want to go.
Because, after all, he hadn’t seen Princess Jasmine since he’d kidnapped her from Agrabah, three years ago.
