So while I was reading a walkthrough thread on Fate/stay night there was awesome NASUWORDS shit (for example infodumping about Servants right in the middle of a fight) and it was AWESOME and I’m like
That’s cool shit. I’m gonna emulate it. :>
And then just now someone on some writing/gaming/game designing forum was like
THAT KIND OF THING TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS
and I’m like
GODDAMIT BUT I LIKED THOSE FUCKING NASUWORDS HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO COMMUNICATE MY ~*AWESOME MAGIC SHIT*~ NOW
But to be serious though, I think it is in my better interest to emulate Nasu-style infodumping because one of the biggest problems with my writing is that it’s very bare and not fleshed out. Infodumping while in the middle of a fight scene interests me (b/c I get very uninterested if I do regular infodumping, you see), and I can always change it up later during any of the (indubitably) many editing sessions.
I just wanted to get this out. :>
