moar arrP stuff.
Faster. Ran somehow managed to convince her body to speed up, eyes focused intently on her path, ignoring the aches and pains and the screaming of muscles about to hit their limit. Just a climb of a short staircase, and then she was on her back, staring unseeing at the sky as her body re-regulated itself, convincing her heart to slow down, her breath to even out, and her knees to stop shaking.
She knew, all too well, what her mother would say about this exertion, but today Ran just needed to feel adequate. Running was about all she was good at; her reflexes were too slow, her movements too clumsy, her footwork, ironically, abysmal. The basis is to like it, she told herself, for what must be the fortieth time that day. As long as Master Shafu wouldn’t let her quit, she would keep working at it.
A leaf fluttered into her line of sight, and Ran looked up at the trees flanking the shrine. With some effort, she stood, and lifted her fists. “Heart,” she muttered. She repeated it, louder, “Heart!” and punched the air. She did this for a few minutes until her arms gave up and dropped to her sides, whimpering their protest. Not disheartened in the slightest, however, Ran sat on the nearby bench for a quick rest before getting up to head home.

It’s a bit awkward to ask, but. How would my wheelchair-bound character get on a bus? Would she be carried on, and transferred to another wheelchair at Doyleton, or would the entire wheelchair be brought up, or…? ^^;; Thanks in advance.
