fic crisis
So I have this fic right. WHEN DOES JAC EVER NOT LOL And in it, the Rinshi have no taste buds (in my own little headcanon they don’t ♥), so the food is very well. bad. Naturally, Mele has to go kidnap a living cook, but uh, how? 8D;; And how does she keep him/her there? How does Mele keep the cook from poisoning the food? |||OTL

i might be completely off, but…
if rinshi are like jiangshi (PR wikia), then throw rice at them:
“When grains or rice, seeds, anything small thrown in the path of a jiang shi, the jiang shi will stop and count the grains of rice.” (wikipedia)
that should slow em down enough to catch em.

Nah, Mele and her goons are the jiang si. 8D;; She has to catch a living cook and keep him/her at jiang si headquarters to cook. o_O (It’s for Rio, who’s human and needs to eat. lol)

ah, i see, lol i i mixed the characters up XP
i don’t know enough about the series to help, sorry!
(but, i do know mele is adorable, so can she use her feminine charms to lure a cook over? or would that be too easy or out of character?)

She could do that! Thanks! It kinda would be a little out of character because she “saves” all of that for Rio, but this is better than what I had before (which was nothing 8D;;) so thanks~~~~!
