When I first saw him, I was all, “I HOPE HE’S NOT LIKE CRAZY BLACK MAN BARRET.” Not that there’s anything wrong with crazy Black men, but Barret always seemed like such a stereotype to me.

But Sazh seems so cute! The lower half of that scan has Lightning shoving his face, and omg he keeps a pet chickobo. xDDDD

i love that look on his face. i can’t quite figure out what he’s thinking about. speaking of stereotypes, i have a feeling ppl are gonna make fried chicken jokes ’cause of that chocobo.

and he has on engineer boots! i want those!

I guess thinking about stereotypes is unavoidable. x3 (An obviously Asian/Japanese character, most likely female, is also pretty much a given, because this is SQUENIX and NOMURA. I’m rooting for samurai. Or Sukeban/Yazuka mistress-type. :D AN ECCHI ONE VOICED BY PAKU ROMI–I’m getting way too ahead of myself here xDDDD)

lol UNDERSTANDABLE. I’m more fascinated by girl designs, however, so I didn’t look at his design as closely as I did Lightning’s. xD;;;;;
